Every six seconds a child dies because of hunger and related causes.

Anybody can help those children on Dec.7, the day Key Club is hosting a charity donation at Orange Leaf, a frozen yogurt shop on Tienken Road.

Twenty percent of the proceeds from the bought frozen yogurt will be given to Key Club, who is donating the money to a charity called Kids Against Hunger.

Kids Against Hunger is a charity that packages highly-nutritious, life-saving meals for starving, malnourished children and their families in developing countries and the United States.

The goal of the organization is for its meals to provide a stable nutritional base so that recipient families can move their families from starvation to self-sufficiency, according to Kids Against Hunger’s article “What We Do.”

Everyone is encouraged to come enjoy yogurt while saving the lives of children.
