From Jan.18 at 4:30 p.m. to Jan.19 at 7 a.m., students at St. Andrew Youth Group were “snowed in”.

The lock-in took place at the Church Activities Building and students from high schools around Rochester participated.

“The theme this year was adoration,” youth director Jason Spranger said. “We’re trying to incorporate that into the activities.”

Activities later in the night included sledding, a bonfire, midnight bowling, and a murder mystery. Continuing on a tradition, there will also be a tent decorating contest. Catering was provided by Rojo.

“There are lots of new things going on this year,” Spranger said. “We’re going to be able to have a spiritual experience, as well as a fun one!”
